Ukraine completes financing the annual one-time monetary assistance to war veterans and victims of Nazi persecution, social policy minister of Ukraine Natalia Korolevska said, the Social Policy Ministry press service informs.
"In general, in the state budget for 2013 provides 816.7 million UAH for these purposes. The Treasury allocated the whole prescribed amount for such payments. According to the operational data of the regional social security authorities, almost all funds are transferred to post offices and banking institutions on payment of the annual one-time financial assistance to war veterans and victims of Nazi persecution," Korolevska noted.
The minister added that all the veterans will get them, without exception. "The law on the status of war veterans and guarantees of their social security stipulates that the assistance shall be paid by September 30, so until that time all, whom it is assigned, will be able to get the money. We are keeping under constant control the situation with payments, and we ask to inform if a failure occurs somewhere," she said.
