
The rally of the Communist Party of Ukraine supporters has begun on the European Square in the center of Kyiv.
As ForUm correspondent reports, the rally was opened with performance of Soviet songs about Vladimir Lenin and communism.
Then, the Ukraine’s Communist Party leader Petro Symonenko delivered a speech from the stage, decorated in red.
There are a lot of retirees, young people and children. The number of rally participants has increased to 10 thousand.
It is worth noting that the red banners have also been placed on the trees in the European Square.
Meanwhile, on the square you can buy Soviet stuff, badges, books, newspapers, and even a calendar for 2013 with the image of Stalin.

About 200 law enforcement officers maintain public order.
