The festive procession of the Communist Party supporters has begun in Kyiv city center.
As ForUm correspondent reports, there are about five thousand people at the event now.
Seven columns of demonstrators began to move towards the European Square from the monument to Vladimir Lenin from the Shevchenko Boulevard, the Chervonoarmiiska Street, the Khmelnytsky Square, the Bessarabka Square merging into a single column in the Khreshchatyk Street.
Most of the participants are dressed in red T-shirts with symbols of the Communist Party. Many of them hold red gel balloons and flags.
Soviet marches are performed near the monument to Lenin from the very morning.
About a hundred policemen maintain public order.
As a reminder, traffic is limited in the city center due to the celebrations.
