The decision of the European Court of Human Rights in the case "Tymoshenko vs. Ukraine" is not given the status of a final one, the statement of the Justice Ministry of Ukraine reads.
"Parties are given three months to file a petition for review of the case to the Grand Chamber. During this period, the Justice Ministry will analyze this ruling and will take the decision on whether to appeal it," the statement reads.
At the same time, the Justice Ministry added that if the ECHR’s ruling gets the status of a final, Ukraine will take all necessary measures to satisfy this judgment.
"It should be noted that today the issue of election of measures is regulated by the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of the ECHR," the Ministry stressed.
