FM unaware how ECHR to influence talks with EU

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine cannot yet say how the decision of the European Court of Human Rights on the complaint of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko could influence the negotiations on the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, FM spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing.

"First, the decision should be analyzed," he said.

Perebyinis added that according to current practice, the decision of the ECHR will be sent to the Government Commissioner for the European Court of Human Rights, and he will analyze it, and later announce the legal position.
