State service on mining control and industrial safety will appeal to the police to strengthen control over mobile coffee bars, first deputy chair of the State service of mining control and industrial safety Viktor Shaitai told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the question of safety of mobile coffee bars rises every year, but the government does nothing about it.
"Our service does have legal right to inspect such enterprise. But after yesterday's accident on Kontraktova square we will send letters to all executive power agencies, Interior Ministry and Traffic Police," Shaitai informed.
According to the official, some mobile coffee bars work on gas tanks, and others work directly on car fuel, which makes them dangerous for the wider public.
As a reminder, on April 25 a mobile coffer bar exploded on Kontraktova square.
