If the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement is not signed during the summit of "Eastern Partnership" in Vilnius in November, we’ll discuss the reasons for failure during decades, Polish foreign minister Radoslaw Sikorski told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"If we fail in November, we will discuss and debate what went wrong for decades, perhaps for generations," the minister said.

Sikorski added that he leaves Ukraine with higher hopes for the signing of the Association Agreement, than when he arrived in our country.
"I see a real commitment on the part of the President and the opposition to make every effort to adopt and implement legislation, aimed at bringing Ukraine closer to the EU," he noted.

Sikorski added that he is not talking about reaching agreement on the formal completion of the process. "The stakes are very high, and little time is left. I'm afraid that if we had to make decision now, the answer would be "no". Ukraine has three crucial months, during which it is possible to do what is necessary," Polish foreign minister concluded.
