The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that on April 23, five citizens of Ukraine were evacuated from Syria instead of the previously announced 11 people, Foreign Ministry's spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said.
He has no information why not all of 11 Ukrainians returned to their homeland.
Perebyinis hopes for their return in the near future.
In addition, he said that sometimes citizens refuse to come back for various reasons at the last minute.
