The Ukrainian government will not raise gas tariffs for the population, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at the meeting with representatives of foreign media.
"When we agree with Russia on price for gas supply and transportation, then it will be clear what to do with gas tariffs for the population," Azarov mentioned.
Azarov also said that Ukraine has reduced the volume of gas imported from Russia, from 54 to 27 billion cubic meters, and noted the increase in gas supplies from Europe.
