The College of the European Commission will discuss the situation in Ukraine on May 15.
At the same meeting, it is planned to approve the report of EC on progress towards Ukraine’s meeting the criteria of signing of the Association Agreement with the EU. This is the so-called "Füle list" of 19 points, which later by combining several indicators was reduced to 11 points, a representative of the Foreign Ministry informs.
The official agenda has not yet approved, but the issue is unlikely to be deferred, as on May 27 the EU Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs is going to consider the EC report. The Council shall adopt the decision to send the Association Agreement to legal reconciliation and then prepare it for possible signing. Such pace of consideration, according to the European bureaucratic procedure, is considered highly compressed and can not be reduced.
