Ukrainian foreign minister Leonid Kozhara expressed hope that the Ukrainian government will pass the bills necessary for the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union as soon as possible, he told a press briefing following a meeting with President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Wolfgang Grossruck in Kyiv on Monday.
“The Ukrainian government has drawn up relevant bills and submitted them to the Verkhovna Rada. We hope that the Ukrainian Parliament will support these bills,” Kozhara said, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
He noted that Ukraine is paying attention to its obligations within the OSCE, the conclusions of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission on the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in October 2012 and the recommendations of PACE and the European Parliament.
