Ukraine excluded hybrid cars from the list of taxable vehicles for almost a year.
Until February 28, 2014, it was decided to release hybrid cars with an engine capacity of 1.000 cubic cm – 2.200 cubic cm from the imposition of a special duty on imports of new cars, regardless of country of origin and exports, which is charged since April 13 this year.
On April 20, the Uryadovy Kurier government newspaper reported that the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade adopted such a decision on April 11, 2013 upon the review of materials of the State Agency of Environmental Investments of Ukraine and the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine.
The decision of the Commission takes effect upon the date of publication of the announcement.
