Absence of leader of the UDAR faction Vitali Klitschko during a vote for passing a no-confidence motion to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine testifies to the fact that not all opposition members want dismissal of the government. In addition, there are internal debates in the opposition forces.
This was stated by first vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov in interview with the ICTV Ukrainian TV channel.
"Voting for dismissal of the government confirmed that not all members of the opposition wanted to vote for the government's resignation. For example, there was no opposition leader Mr. Klitschko. I think this fact confirms his political maturity. He understands that it is a serious decision to take responsibility and to dismiss the government under a crisis," Arbuzov said.
He added that another member of the UDAR faction Viktor Pynzenyk was also absent during the voting. So, there is an internal debate in the opposition.
"Therefore, we will discuss, we will continue trying to work. It is possible now as the Verkhovna Rada has already started to work," first vice Prime Minister said.
