The Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka believes necessary to increase the crime detection rate. He said this at the all-Ukrainian meeting of the prosecutors dedicated to the implementation of the requirements of the new Code of Criminal Procedure.
"A problem of detection of offenses requires solution. This factor measures protection of the population from criminal attacks. We are not satisfied with 37% of productions, in which suspicion is put. Number of such production should be greater".
Pshonka added that crime detection rate influences on the public perception of the effectiveness of the criminal proceedings reform.
