Ukraine has been and remains the main transporter of Russian gas, despite Russia’s launch of pipelines bypassing Ukraine, vice Prime Minister Yuri Boiko said at the sixth Kyiv forum "Security in a dangerous world."

According to him, one of the main priorities for Ukraine today is to continue to be the gas transmission state.

"Ukrainian GTS transports now 60% of Russian gas to Europe, and today we are a key element in Europe's energy security. This situation will not change for a long time, so we need both a support from the European partners and the dialogue with Russia," Boiko said.
