Ukraine will continue negotiations with Russia on reduction of gas prices and will revise the amounts of gas purchases on the spot markets, energy and coal industry minister Eduard Stavytsky said during the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports."
According to him, the gas consumption in Ukraine has sharply decreased due to the end of heating season, and the government has enough time to prepare for the next season.
He also stressed that the commercial companies carry out the gas supply to Ukraine from Russia and Europe, and they buy fuel from the economic entities, including the producers.
