The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading a draft law on amendments to the law of Ukraine "On state assistance to families with children."

As ForUm correspondent reported, 326 deputies voted in favor of this decision.

Author of the bill, deputy speaker of the Parliament Ihor Kaletnyk explained that this bill provides reduction in the number of documents necessary to receive the state child birth assistance.

In particular, according to him, parents need to provide only the application in any form, passport and birth certificate, and the state authorities should exchange with other documents by themselves.
