At today's meeting of the Kyiv City Council it is planning to amend the city budget, deputy mayor - Kyiv City Council secretary Halyna Hereha told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to her, income and expenses of the special fund will be increased by 1496.6 million UAH through subventions from the state budget to pay off the debt on the difference in rates of heat energy, water services.

"These funds will be used to finance measures for Kyiv landscaping: maintenance of green spaces, conduct of maintenance work, maintenance of urban roads, road constructions, water supply pump-systems, etc." Hereha explained.

In addition, the City Council plans to make changes to the economic and social program of the city in 2013.

According to the deputy mayor, today's agenda includes a lot of socially significant issues.

In addition, members will review the list of draft decisions regarding the medical reform in the capital.

"MPs should consider 26 projects to continue medical reform in Kyiv through the reorganization of outpatient facilities in the remaining eight districts of the city," the official stressed.

Hereha added that at today's meeting it is planned approve a program of provision orphans and children deprived of parental care with housing.

The Kyiv City Council is to consider 249 questions, 71 of them are general, 54 – property issues and 124 are issues of urban planning and land use.
