Kulbida: Danube to flood uninhabited areas of Vylkove town
The water level exceeds a dangerous mark by 11 cm on the Danube River near the town of Vylkove, and the water is expected to rise by 10-12 centimeters within two days, director of Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Over the next two days we expect increase in wind speed up to 18-22 m/s in the south of Ukraine in the Black Sea and Azov Sea offshore. The wind will raise the water level of Danube by 10-12 cm compared with the current level. This will lead to the flooding of uninhabited areas in Vylkove," Kulbida said.

Meanwhile, the spring flooding continues in Ukraine. "The water level of the Dnieper River is increasing daily by 85-116 cm near Mohyliov," he said.

In addition, as of today, the dangerous marks of rivers have been exceeded in the Rivne region, as well as in four districts of Volyn region, including Lutsk.
