Parliament has once again failed to appoint date of elections in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent reports.

The draft resolution on holding early elections of Kyiv mayor and deputies of the Kyiv City Council by MP from the Batkivshchyna faction Volodymyr Yavorivsky was supported by only 200 MPs. The Party of Regions faction gave 0 votes, the Batkivshchyna faction – 93 votes, the UDAR Party faction - 39, Svoboda faction - 34, the Communist Party faction - 20, individual MPs - 14.

It should be noted that the relevant committee on state building and local self-government did not recommend the adoption of the draft resolution.

Head of the committee David Zhvania said there were no grounds for early elections in Kyiv.
After that, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak closed the morning sitting of Parliament.
