
Almost entire Sevastopol has remained without electricity due to the accident, occurred in the Crimean power system.
As a result of the accident, which occurred at around 09.30 a.m. today, two lines of 330 kW were disconnected.
Now almost entire Sevastopol remains without electricity except of the military units and institutions, where diesel generators are connected in emergency mode. According to the press service of the Sevastopol electric power company, the third hydroelectric complex, which is the main in water pumping system of the city, is already energized.
The press service of the Emergency Service department in Sevastopol informed that diesel generators were sent to the main city hospitals, including two maternity clinics, immediately after the accident.
