Head coach of Dynamo-2 Kyiv football team Andriy Husin held a masterclass for 15 children with hemophilia, who came from different regions of Ukraine at the Lobanovsky stadium "Dynamo".

As ForUm correspondent reports, the master class was held within the framework of project "Children with hemophilia: not to leave out of the game".

The organizers of the project explained that the idea of involving children with such a diagnosis in this action came in preparation for Euro 2012. The action is intended to show that children with hemophilia can also live a normal life, but for this they need constant preventive treatment.

"If a child undergoes a permanent prevention and if the purchase of drugs is financed, these funds will be repaid, and we will have healthy people. If timely preventive treatment is not done, the person will be socially unadapted," head of the All-Ukrainian NGO “Association of hemophiliacs” Oleksandr Shmilo added.

In turn, hematologist, professor of pediatrics and neonatology of the Lviv National Medical University postgraduate department Leonid Dubey noted that today it is difficult to determine the exact number of children suffering from this disease.

"So now we are working on creating an electronic database, in which pediatricians and hematologists will enter information about each sick child. Then we will really see how many children are ill with hemophilia," Dubey said.

According to him, this will also help to simplify the process of predicting the purchase of drugs.
