Decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade under the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine, providing for the introduction of a three-year special duty on the import of new cars took effect on April 13 in Ukraine.
The decision was published in the Uriadovyi Kurier governmental newspaper.
Special measures shall be applied for three years through the introduction of a special tax on imports to Ukraine of cars with spark ignition internal combustion engine, depending on cylinder capacity:
- 1000 cubic cm - 1500 cubic cm - at the rate of 6.46%;
- 1500 cubic cm - 2200 cubic cm - at the rate of 12.95%.
