Crimean law enforcement officers have found the suspect in murder of the mayor of Simeiz Kyrylo Kostenko and now search for him, the prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Vyacheslav Pavlov informed.
"There is a person, who is reasonably suspected of having committed the murder of mayor of town of Simeiz. We take all measures to establish his whereabouts," he said.
The prosecutor did not speak in detail about the suspect, referring to the ongoing investigation, but confirmed that the main version of crime relates to land.
"There are certain issues, associated with the adoption of decisions on the allocation of land," Vyacheslav Pavlov said, noting that Kostenko failed to meet certain obligations.
