U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John Tefft predicts that the U.S. policy of cooperation with Ukraine will not change dramatically, when his colleague Geoffrey R. Pyatt will take his post.

"Pyatt is a purposeful and successful diplomat, and he will conduct the same policy and will develop the relationship with Ukraine. He will represent the President of the USA (Barack Obama) and the Secretary of the U.S. Department of State (John Kerry), and I think the policy will not change," Tefft said.

However, he stressed that the U.S. foreign policy depends on the President of the USA, and Pyatt will follow it.

In addition, he noted that he is doing everything possible for Ukraine to sign the Association Agreement with the EU in November, and Pyatt will also support this course.

Tefft stressed that Pyatt will assume his duties this summer.
