President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych stressed the inadmissibility of hampering reforms by some officials. The Head of State said this during the meeting with administrative and economic activists of Mykolayiv region, ForUm learned from the President’s press office.

According to Yanukovych, not all the laws, adopted within the framework of conducting reforms, are implemented. There is a fault of officials. "I am well aware of that the army of officials, who contributed from licensing system, has begun to lose earnings," Yanukovych said, commenting on the implementation of laws, aimed at simplifying the licensing system.

The President noted that in Ukraine there are a large number of officials living off bureaucratic procedures. "Our task is to drastically change the situation," he said, adding that often such good intentions "drown in a swamp of red tape".
