Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has ordered to organize a garbage collection in the country till the Easter, he said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
Azarov noted that the volume of work is significant, but all the garbage should be removed before the Easter holidays. In addition, he stressed that it is necessary to clean the territories around the graves of soldiers of the Second World War and near the Victory Day monuments. The Prime Minister warned that the special commission will check the readiness of regions to celebrate the ninth of May.
The Prime Minister also demanded the heads of ministries, departments, administrations, businesses and university rectors to show an example of household approach and to clean their territories. He advised to spend the environment days and asked the heads of cities and village councils to provide citizens with appropriate implements.
