The justice agencies of Ukraine and Belarus have declared their intention to continue mutual relations and sign a cooperation program between the Justice Ministries of two countries for 2013-2014, the press service of the Ukrainian Justice Ministry reported.

"It is expected that a bilateral meeting between Ukrainian and Belarusian justice ministers Oleksandr Lavrynovych and Oleg Slizhevsky, during which a respective agreement will be signed, will be held today in Chernihiv," the statement reads, UKRINFORM informs.

As part of the agreement, it is planned to continue cooperation between the state forensic institutions of Ukraine and Belarus and exchange experience on the registration of public associations, including given the new law on public associations, which came into force in Ukraine on January 1, 2013 and received rave reviews from European experts.

In addition, the agreement envisages the exchange of experience in the field of the use of information technology and the activities of notaries, in the field of the application of international treaties on the provision of legal assistance, as well as with respect to the reform of the system of the enforcement of court judgments, etc.
