Last steps of the Ukrainian authorities create a political atmosphere necessary for the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU in November, Advisor to the President of Ukraine and head of general department for international relations of the Administration of the President of Ukraine Andriy Honcharuk told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The last steps that have been implemented by all branches of Ukrainian government in all fields show a serious progress in creation of the appropriate political atmosphere to achieve the main goal - the signing of the Association Agreement during the Vilnius summit in November," he said.
Honcharuk also noted that Ukraine has almost completed the liberalization of legislative base in compliance with the action plan. "The Verkhovna Rada has to solve several issues in order to complete the liberalization of the legislative base. These are three bills, and as soon as they are considered, the European side will give Ukraine a third report on the implementation of the first legislative stage," he said.
According to the official, Ukraine will start implementation, when the legislative stage is completed.
