Fertilization of winter crops and sowing of early spring crops completed in Crimea.
Crimean First Deputy Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Mykola Poliushkin has said about this at the personnel's meeting on April 8, UKRINFORM reports with reference to the official website of the Crimean Council of Ministers.

According to him, this year, the sowing area under spring crops grew by 10% against 2012.

Currently in Crimea, sowing of late spring crops started, such as sunflower seeds, corn, soya and others. “The state of winter crops improves, moisture increased in soils in all the regions, except for Dzhankoy district. However, as a result of the precipitation, the situation will improve over recent days,” Mykola Poliushkin said.
