The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) lifts control over each batch of Ukrainian cheese imported into the Russian Federation, the press service of the Service informs.

"In 2012 and from year 2013 to date, the laboratory "Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Moscow" studied more than 1.260 samples from different batches of cheese produced by the Hadyachsyr, the Ros Branch of Akhtyrsky cheese factory, the Prometey Mena cheese branch, the Dubnamoloko, and the Pyryatinsky Ukrainian cheese plants," the statement reads.

According to the results of laboratory studies, conformity of the product with requirements of the federal law on technical regulations for milk and milk products was established.

"The Rospotrebnadzor will continue monitoring quality of Ukrainian cheese within the regulatory activities of the said products, selected out of circulation," the Service.
