Warm spell will come to Ukraine on April 11-12, when the maximum temperature in the country will rise to 11-17 degrees above zero, director of the Ukrainian Hydrometereological Center Mykola Kulbida told a briefing on Monday.
"The warm spell will begin from April 11. First, in the western and the south-western regions, and on April 12-13, it will spread throughout the entire territory of Ukraine. The maximum temperature ranging, from April 12, will to rise to +17 +11 throughout Ukraine, including the western and northern regions of Ukraine," Kulbida said.
According to the country's chief forecaster, on April 8-10, the weather will not change significantly. In the western, northern and central regions, the night temperature will be 0 -5 degrees Celsius, during the day - 4-9 degrees above zero. In the southern and eastern regions, the night-time air temperature will not exceed 1-5 degrees above zero, and the day temperature will reach 10-15 degrees above zero.
Kulbida also noted that snow cover should melt before the end of the week.
