Energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky denies suspension of talks with Russia on creating a consortium to manage the Ukrainian gas transport system.
According to him, Ukraine is considering all options for the format of a consortium to manage the Ukrainian GTS.
"The Russian party sees the situation bilaterally. We are engaged in broader consultations - with Russian and European colleagues," he said.
Answering the question whether Ukraine considers the option to create a bilateral consortium, the minister said that all options are considered.
"We are considering all options," he said.
According to Stavytsky, the final decision on the format of the consortium has not been made yet, but he promised that it will be done openly and publicly.
Earlier media reports that Russia initiated suspension of talks on setting up a consortium to manage the Ukrainian GTS.
