Opposition puts forward fourth claim to majority

The opposition puts forward the fourth requirement to the majority- to re-vote for the bills, passed on April 4, in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada, leader of the Batkivshchyna faction Arseniy Yatseniuk told a briefing in the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The Party of Regions has finally returned from the gateway to the Parliament’s building, and the chairman of Parliament finally called the leaders of the factions for a meeting. Our demands have not changed: the date of appointment of Kyiv elections, the abolition of the pension reform, the consideration of resignation of the government. However, after yesterday's events, the unconstitutional coup, we have a new requirement - all the solutions, taken yesterday at the buffet, should be re-voted in the session hall," he said.

According to him, the yesterday's majority meeting was attended not by 244, but 182 MPs. "Today we appealed to our opponents, so that they satisfy three of our requirements and re-vote, that is legalize, the yesterday's solutions. We are waiting for their response," Yatseniuk noted.

In turn, leader of the Svoboda faction Oleh Tyahnybok stated that all the decisions, taken yesterday, are legally invalid.
