While the opposition is inactive, the parliamentary majority has passed bills, important for the people, member of the Party of Regions faction Mykola Levchenko said.

In particular, today there was amended the law on pensions for persons, who have raised five or more children.

The second bill concerns charging penalties in case of non-payment of salaries, scholarships, pensions and other benefits.

He also expressed his belief that the deputies from the opposition, who wanted to break into the majority meeting, tried to disrupt passing of these bills.

"I want to emphasize that today the Parliament still works, important bills are passed, there is a debate in the hall. Some bills are passed, some bills are rejected and sent back for revision. This means that we have enough votes to pass important bills," the politician said.
