Meeting of deputies from the Party of Regions and the Communist Party of Ukraine is held in the building of the Parliament, therefore, it is legitimate, leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine Petro Symonenko said in exclusive commentary to ForUm correspondent.
"First of all, this meeting takes place in the building of the Verkhovna Rada, the building of the Parliament’s committee. Second, we told our colleagues that we want to continue working. We had to make this decision. Today, al regulatory, procedural issues are fully observed, Symonenko said.
According to Symonenko, MPs get down to issues on the agenda, approved by the conciliation board.
"We are public, we do not hide, the camera is switched on. There is a direct broadcast, people can watch and give their assessment. Here are different points of view, and some projects, which was put to vote, did not find support," the leader of the Communist Party said.
Symonenko noted that if the session hall is unblocked, people's representatives are ready to go back and work there.
"We are ready to defend our point of view in discussions. However, if it is blocked - well, do not turn Verkhovna Rada into clowning," he summed up.
