Majority vote for sittings outside Parliament

Deputies from the Party of Regions and the Communist Party of Ukraine voted for holding plenary session outside the Parliament’s building, ForUm correspondent reports.

Verkhovna Rada chairman Volodymyr Rybak asked the counting commission to announce the number of MPs registered for the meeting. Thus, 244 MPs registered in writing in the hall.

Then, the issue of transformation of the MPs’ congress into plenary session was put to a vote by show of hands. The proposal was supported unanimously.

Rybak closed the plenary session of April 2, and opened the plenary session on Thursday.
