On Thursday, April 4, the parliamentary majority will hold a meeting with participation of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak, at which the dissolution of the present Parliament may be considered, Rybak told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"MPs from the majority of about 240-250 people invited me to a meeting to consider the current situation in the Parliament. I do not know what proposals will. Maybe they will suggest dissolving Parliament or requesting the President to dissolve it, maybe there will be some other options. I will inform of the taken decisions after the meeting," the speaker assured.
The Parliament’s chairman noted that this morning he tried again to negotiate with the leaders of all factions and deputies to unblock the work of Parliament. "Unfortunately, today the Parliament is blocked, According to the opposition, there are three reasons: the first - elections in Kyiv, the second - the abolition of the pension reform, the third - the resignation of the government," he said.
Rybak said that the first two issued were considered by the Parliament and gained no support. As for the resignation of the Cabinet, the issue had to be brought in on Friday for an hour of questions to the government.
