Energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky believes that Russia has no reason to worry about reverse gas supplies to Ukraine.

"I do not want to comment on the statements of our colleagues on the legality or illegality ... However, when you come to the store and buy food, probably the salesman is not be interested in people you're going to eat with," he said.

According to the minister, the Russian party has sent an inquiry on reverse gas supplies to Ukraine. "We answered them. I see no reason for concern," he stressed.

Stavytsky once again noted that Ukraine fulfills all the conditions for the transit of Russian gas, but the issue of fairness of gas price cannot but disturb our country.

The minister said that the negotiations with Russia on reducing gas prices continue.

Stavytsky added that Ukraine holds constructive dialogue with Romania on reverse gas supplies.

"We do have a normal experience of work with the Romanian colleagues. The supplies from the territory of Romania have not yet started, we are still consulting," he concluded.
