The leaders of the parliamentary factions failed to reach a consensus during talks in office of the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak, so blocking of work of the Parliament will continue, leader of the Svoboda faction Oleh Tyahnybok told a briefing in the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Unfortunately, there was no progress during the talks. However, it is not news for us. We understand that there no instructions were given to parliamentary factions of the Party of regions and the Communist Party from top. They are trying to further delay the Kyiv elections," Tyahnybok said.

In his view, the decision of the Constitutional Court on the matter is likely to be in favor of the parliamentary majority, and they will try to postpone the elections till 2015.

"I want to assure you that the opposition will further require appointing Kyiv elections, abolishing the pension reform and resigning the government of Azarov. Blocking of the Parliament will, of course, continue. Today we block it until 2 p.m., as the parliament hearings start at 3 p.m.," Tyahnybok said.
According to him, tomorrow the opposition will also begin its work with blocking the work of Parliament.
