Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov has been waiting mayoral election in Kyiv lately.
"I have been waiting for these elections lately as they should be held. We need to put an end to this affair, this marathon," Popov said during the offsite meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
In addition, the KCSA head stressed that the issue of local elections lies exclusively within the competence of the Parliament and the Constitutional Court.
"That's not my competence, and it (the decision of the Parliament - Ed.) is what it is," he said, commenting on yesterday's decision of the Parliament on elections in the capital.
