85 units of special equipment for flood response have been sent to Kyiv from different regions of Ukraine, head of the Kyiv emergency control department Andriy Kutsenko reported during the equipment display, ForUm's correspondent reports.

"As of April 1, 85 units of equipment and 165 rescuers arrived in Kyiv. However, in case of emergency they may be redeployed to other regions," he said and added that the special equipment arrived from Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhya regions.



"Last night the response team already had some work to do. There were three flooding cases:  two in Solomenski district and one in Desnyanski," Kutsenko said.

As reported, Emergency Control Service reported risks of flooding in 11 regions of Ukraine and in the city of Kyiv. Currently in Kyiv, there are about 240 houses, located in areas at risk.
