Column of opposition supporters, demanding appointment of elections in Kyiv, has blocked traffic in the Hrushevsky Street in front of the Parliament.

As ForUm correspondent reports, according to various estimates, 3-5 thousand people participate in the rally.

Leader of the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda (Freedom) Oleh Tyahnybok in comments to ForUm correspondent expressed a hope that there will be no clashes among participants of the protest actions held near the Parliament. "We'll see, we want peace, but who knows how it will be," he said.
At the same time the MP found difficult to name the number of people, who have come to support the opposition rally. "It's difficult to tell you how many people came, but there are many for sure," he said.

Parliamentarian also said that so far opposition supporters will remain in the Hrushevsky Street. According to Tyahnybok, meanwhile MPs in the session hall will try to solve the issue of the appointment of Kyiv elections.

It should be noted that the agenda of today's plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada provides for considering the issue of elections in Kyiv.
