The Constitutional Court started considering on March 29 a motion from Party of Regions MPs regarding the date of elections in Kyiv, the court's press service has reported, Ukrinform reports.
"A panel of judges of the Constitutional Court at a meeting on March 29, 2013 adopted a decision on the launch of constitutional proceedings in the case on a constitutional motion from 48 MPs," reads the statement.
However, the court's press service reported that "in accordance with the Constitutional Court's rules of procedure, this case should be further considered at a plenary meeting of the court within the terms specified in Article 57 of the law on the Constitutional Court."
