Representatives of the Party of Regions faction in the Parliament want to dismiss Ruslan Koshulynsky from the post of the deputy speaker, as he represents not the interests of the Parliament, but those of the Svoboda faction, head of PR faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing after the conciliation board, ForUm correspondent reports.

He stressed that an MP, elected as the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, the first deputy speaker or deputy speaker, shall represent interests of the Parliament only, not of his political force.

"First of all, he should secure the work of Parliament, not to take part in activities organized by the faction. This is one of the main complaints," Yefremov explained.

PR faction leader also said that another complaint about Koshulynsky is that he is a member of the Svoboda faction.

"His political force is quite a serious threat to our country," Yefremov noted once again.

At the same time, he said that although signatures for the dismissal of the deputy speaker are collected, the Party of Regions has not yet taken a final decision on the matter and has not figured out how many votes will be in favor of this dismissal.

He added that the personnel issue may be put on the agenda of any of the plenary day.
"We have the right to raise this issue, as we voted for his candidacy," Yefremov said.
