Ukrainians will be able to travel visa-free to Macedonia till 2018, foreign minister Leonid Kozhara told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, this decision was taken by the Macedonian government.

The minister also noted that Ukraine has also taken the appropriate steps to facilitate visa regime with Macedonia. "The visa regime for Macedonian citizens will be suspended for two years - until 2015. I think that abolition of the visa regime will have a very positive impact on our bilateral relations," Kozhara noted.

In turn, the Ambassador of Macedonia to Ukraine Mr. Aco Spasenoski said that the last few years have demonstrated the positive developments caused by abolition of visa regime, which is showed in a more intensive dialogue between the citizens of both countries.

In addition, Kozhara stressed that the decision on visa regime cancellation came into force on March 15, 2013.
