The operation of the Vuhlehirska Thermal Power Plant in town of Svitlodarsk, Donetsk region, will be fully restored. The first steps will be taken during a current week.
That was discussed at the meeting of the government interdepartmental committee on establishing the causes of the accident, press service of Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Boiko informs.
The participants of the meeting noted that workers of the Vuhlehirska TPP will be so far employed in other energy facilities.
In addition, it was noted that local consumers will be provided with heaters for the current heating season. The forecast plan of heat provision for the next heating season will be developed within ten days.
In connection with fire, which destroyed four of Vuhlehirska power plant's seven power units on March 29, President Viktor Yanukovych instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to adopt comprehensive measures to eliminate fire and provide assistance to the victims. In morning of March 30, fire on the Vuhlehirska TPP was extinguished.
