Regional development, construction, housing and communal services minister of Ukraine Hennady Temnyk urged regional leaders to take immediate effective measures to prepare for the drainage of excess water from melting snow, cleaning storm-collector system and drainage systems to prevent water flooding on the streets and roads of settlements, the Regional Development Ministry press service informs.
Appropriate instructions of the Ministry were sent to the Council of Ministers of Crimea, regional state administrations, Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations.
Temnyk also instructed the heads of departments of the Regional Development Ministry to check the condition of cleaning gutters and rainwater drainage systems in Kyiv districts.
