Yanukovych amends provision of Social Policy Ministry

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has made changes in the provision of the Social Policy Ministry, according to the relevant presidential decree.

According to the changes, the Social Policy Ministry is the main body in the system of central bodies of executive power to form and ensure the implementation of state policy in the fields of employment, labor migration and relations, social protection and services, issues on families and children, rehabilitation and recreation of children, and to protect the rights of persons deported on ethnic grounds.

The Social Policy Ministry is a specially authorized central executive body to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men, prevent domestic violence and combat human trafficking and so on.
