Establishment of the State Development Bank is beneficial for both country and economy, economic development and trade minister of Ukraine Ihor Prasolov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"At the moment, a working group has been formed. We have the Ukrainian Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This is a state-owned bank, which did not conduct active operations, and the issue on its activities is being discussed now.
First of all, we need to make changes to the bank's charter, but financial aspect is the most important for us," the minister specified.
According to him, the state budget will finance the State Development Bank.
"We can not yet name the exact sum of money. Of course, we are interested that this bank has a lot of money. If the process goes, the cost of credits will fall, which is very important for our economy," Prasolov concluded.
